State-owned Kazan Aircraft Production Association has signed an agreement to deliver four Tu-124 planes to the Bulgarian airlines Air Sofia and BH Air. As a Rosbalt correspondent was informed yesterday by the press office of the Tatar Cabinet, the agreement was signed while a Tatar government delegation was at the international exhibition in Plovdiv.
The Tatar government sees this new contract as another step towards greater cooperation between Kazan aircraft producers and Bulgarian consumers. The Tu-124 was successfully displayed in Bulgaria last September. The new plane can fly up to 7.2 thousand kilometres and can seat 210 passengers.
