The scientific-practical conference on the problems of interaction between the energy systems of the EURASEC countries (the CIS economic Five) opens today. It will be held on the coast of the resort lake Issyk-Kul in Kyrgyzstan.
The participants in the forum are going to discuss, during their two-day session, the creation of a common energy market of the EURASEC member countries and prospects for expansion of their trade and economic cooperation in power engineering.
Taking part in the conference are EURASEC general secretary Grigory Rapota, Russian deputy energy minister, deputy minister of energy and mineral resources of Kazakhstan, director of state energy agency under the Kyrgyz government, energy ministers of Tajikistan and Belarus. The government of Kyrgyzstan, the council for the energy policy at the EURASEC integration committee, the state energy agency under the Kyrgyz government and the integration committee's secretariat.
The final document is to be signed when the forum wounds up.
