Moscow is the second most expensive city in the world. As a Rosbalt correspondent was informed by the press office of the Moscow administration yesterday, this was confirmed by the English company Mercer Human Resource Consulting during the course of their research. Moscow's position in the list is based on the cost of living for foreigners or people used to a western lifestyle.
Only Tokyo is more expensive. Third place went to Osaka while fourth and fifth came Jiulong and Peking respectively. Other cities in the top ten were Geneva, London, Seoul, Zurich and New York. The cheapest city in the world according to Mercer Human Resource Consulting is Asuncion (Paraguay).
