The USA imposed sanctions against Olympic champion in rhythmical gymnastics Alina Kabaeva.

The list also includes: 

  • the head of Phosagro Рolding, Andrey Guryev,
  • the founder of Eurochem and SUEK, Andrey Melnichenko,
  • the owner of the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works, Viktor Rashnikov,
  • the head of the Mariupol city administration, Konstantin Ivashchenko,
  • the head of the administration of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo.

The previous  list was updated on June 28. The list then included more than 50 individuals and over 110 organizations, including TV presenter Tina Kandelaki, former Russian Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov, his wife and children.

On May 13, Kabaeva was put on the UK sanctions list. In addition, the document lists Putin's ex-wife Lyudmila Ocheretnaya, and several of his relatives — cousins ​​Roman and Igor Putin, as well as nephews Mikhail Putin and Mikhail Shelomov.

The US also imposed visa sanctions on 893 Russian officials and military personnel, as well as 31 foreigners.
