Erik Meyer kept alive the World Bowl hopes of the Cologne Centurions Saturday by throwing three touchdown passes in a 31-13 win against the Amsterdam Admirals.
The Centurions moved into a first-place tie with Hamburg and Frankfurt at 6-3, meaning both World Bowl berths will be decided on the final weekend for the first time in NFL Europa history.
Meyer gained 287 yards on 21-of-29 passing. He combined with Tony Curtis for a 35-yard scoring pass and then found Burl Toler for a three-yard score. His final 20-yard touchdown pass to Bobby Blizzard with 7:12 to play sealed the win.
Skyler Fulton caught seven passes for 110 yards for the 3-6 Admirals.
