Six Nations: England reverts to opening team for match against Ireland

England made two changes to its team for next week's Six Nations match at Ireland, reverting to the lineup that impressed in its tournament opener.

Coach Brian Ashton brought in Olly Morgan to replace Iain Balshaw after the fullback limped off in Saturday's 20-7 win over Italy with a groin injury, and restored Joe Worsley at blindside flanker in place of Nick Easter.

That means the team named Tuesday is the same as that which beat Scotland 42-20 two weeks ago, reports AP.

"Joe Worsley has recovered from his neck injury and reclaims the No. 6 shirt just ahead of Nick Easter, who I thought had a very good debut for England against Italy," Ashton said. "However, Joe's greater experience at this level means that he is selected."

Having beaten Scotland convincingly and struggled against Italy, England heads into its Feb. 24 match in Dublin second to France in the Six Nations standings.
