Young married couples in Moscow will be paid for birth of children. The Moscow draft act "On the Youth" adopted by the Moscow government on Tuesday envisages that the parents will get 27.000 rubles /it is equal to ten subsistence wages/ for the first baby (one U.S. dollar equals to about 31 rubles). For the second baby, they will get fifteen subsistence wages and thirty subsistence wages for the third one. At present, there are no such allocations from the city budget.
On the whole, according to the document, spending from the city budget on the needs of the Moscow youth will be increased three times. The notion "youth" refers to citizens from 14 to 25 years old, students under 27 and married couples under 30. All in all, the bill will cover about 1.5 mln Muscovites.
