Three Russian Schoolchildren to Meet Queen of Norway

Three schoolchildren from Murmansk, Arkhangelsk region, and from the Nenets autonomous area (the north of the European Russia) will be welcomed at the reception in the Queen's palace in Oslo on Monday. RIA Novosti received this information at the Murmansk mission of Barents-press.

The visit to the Queen of Norway, Sonya, will take place within the framework of a new project of the international cooperation programme for the youth, "Barents Plus Unior." The Queen herself has chosen the guests.

Fyodor Fefelov from the village of Lovozero, the Murmansk region, is now studying at the gymnasium of the Mo I Rana settlement in Norway. He is keen on sports - skiing, football and basketball. Alla Drozdovskaya, from the Nenets autonomous area, is studying in the gymnasium of the town of Alta. She writes verses and songs in the Russian and Nenets languages. Irina Mirtseva from Arkhangelsk has recently finished the gymnasium in the Norwegian town of Troms. She likes to perform Latin American and classical dances, writes stories and studies foreign languages.

In addition to the meeting with the Queen, the young Russians will visit the Norwegian parliament, the foreign ministry and the Contiki national gallery and museum.
