Giant 4-kursk Tandem Lays Out In Belokamenka Bay

The Giant 4-Kursk tandem has been set on four anchors, the RIA Novosti correspondent quotes Vladimir Navrotski, chief of the press service of the Northern fleet, as saying. To Navrotski, the tandem has been securely moored on all the four anchors on the Belokamenka roads in immediate proximity of the Roslyakovo floating dock. After full mooring of the tandem the Kola gulf will be again open for navigation, said Navrotski. He said that an investigation group has been set up of officers from the Main Military Prosecutor's Office, Prosecutor's Office of the Northern fleet and specialists from St.Petersburg -- in all, 37. They are fully prepared to set to work inside and outside the wrecked nuclear submarine. The public relations officer of the Northern fleet also said that the site of death of the Kursk sub will be protected as before, only on a narrower perimeter.
