Killing flies and getting excellent marks

The citizens of the Dutch town of Aksel are doing their best to struggle with the unexpected invasion of flies. The school teachers even made up a way to mix business with pleasure and made the delinquent students catch the annoying insects.

The classes have to be delayed every time, until all flies are caught in the room. It usually takes ten minutes. The “hunting results” are registered on the special list and those, who excelled in it, are rewarded or get bonuses from their teachers. Alas, it is impossible to do something with those, who actually caused the invasion of flies – the local farmers, who manured their fields during the unusually warm weather.
