European Handball Championship To Start In Moscow

The match between Moscow's TsSKA-Sportakademklub and Slovenia's Celze Pivovarno Lasko will open the European Handball Champions Tournament starting in Moscow today. The match will take place in Moscow's TsSKA Universal Sports Complex. Apart from the Russian and Slovenian teams, the Championship's Group C also includes Ademar Leon of Spain and Karvina of the Chezh Republic. The first stage of the Champions League Tournament will feature 16 teams (arranged in four groups), each of which is to play 6 games in a round-robin competition. Two best teams of each group will qualify to the next stage of the Tournament.
