A gas station called Bin Laden appeared in the city of Jalal-Abad in the south of the republic of Kyrgyzstan. The station is owned by the company that carries the same name. This limited liability company was officially registered at a local justice department.
NATO troops have been staying in Kyrgyzstan for almost a year now. That is why the legacy for such a company to be registered there can not but raise questions. However, as lawyers found out, the democratic republic of Kyrgyzstan does not have any laws that stop a company from selecting an unusual name. It is also worth mentioning here that the company Bin Laden Ltd is owned by one of Kyrgyz deputy’s sister.
