Christmas decorations on a fur-tree in Riga's Esplanade Park surprised visitors. Many found the white patterns with black outlines very reminiscent to stylized swastikas.
The swastika-looking decorations are also available on a fair nearby, Govorit Moskva radio station said.
Riga Mayor Nil Ushakov declined to comment on the situation, wheres the press service of the Riga administration refused to talk to employees of the radio station and hung up.
