Iron Maiden to take Moscow back to 1988 on July 18

Legendary rock band Iron Maiden will play in Moscow on July 18 at Olympic Stadium (Olimpiisky). The band will make a stop in Moscow within the scope of the European tour Maiden England. It will be the only one concert of the band in the Russian capital.

Maiden England Tour is the third part of the acclaimed "The History of Iron Maiden" - a large-scale concert tour of the band, which started in 2004. The second part of the tour started in 2008, when the band toured five continents. Iron Maiden were traveling on the special Boeing 757, which was named Ed Force One. Lead singer Bruce Dickinson piloted the aircraft.

Practically all live concerts of Iron Maiden take place in packed venues. The show that the musicians have prepared for the world this time is going to be fantastic indeed. It will be a remake of the original concert program from 1988, when Maiden England video was released. Moscow will be able to enjoy one of the most legendary performances in the history of the band.

Iron Maiden was formed in 1975, and by 1980 it had won the title of Britain's most popular group. The musicians have played about 2,000 concerts; the band's albums have sold over 85 million copies.
