Premiere of first Russian children's musical show in Kremlin

The premiere of the first children's musical show "Skazka.ru" ('Skazka' means 'fairytale') is to take place November 2-3 in the State Kremlin Palace. In Soviet times, the rectangular building made of glass and concrete and located in the territory of the historical Kremlin hosted Communist party congresses and big national public forums.

Skazka.ru, a dramatized musical show of the twenty-first century, is the best performance for children made for recent years. Famous poet Yuri Entin and composer David Tukhmanov created the show.

The musical will employ both real and virtual decorations. Many special effects will be made by means of a virtual screen. Real characters will be able to travel to the virtual world and back. A special laser show is to provide an authentic virtuality.

The part of the Apparition, played by Russian "mystery" pop singer Vitas, will certainly be the highlight of the musical. TV ads star Anatoly Kolmykov will play the role of Koshchei (a deathless character of Russian fairytales).

The plot collides the forces of light and good with soulless dreadful monsters. It is going to be an amazing journey of Russian tales' heroes to the virtual reality world. Classical melodies by Bach, Mozart and Tchaikovski, as well as pieces by modern composers of different genres will be heard during the performance.
