"The court has extended the custody until December 5. The petition, which the defendant submitted to be released on bail, was rejected by the court, " said the defender.

Also at today's meeting, several procedural motions were announced for admission of the ruling of the first-instance court in Oslo from February 2011. According to the ruling, Datsik was extradited from Norway, but not deported, said Fontanka. As the lawyer said, in case of extradition, the term that his client served in prison in Norway would be included in the punishment announced by the Nevsky court of St. Petersburg.

The petition for the admission of those documents to the case was upheld. The next meeting, which will continue to interrogate the witnesses, is scheduled for September 11.

Datsik is accused of assaulting a cellular shop and setting the church of Seraphim Vyritsky on fire, notes BaltInfo.
