Exhibition devoted to city animals opened in Moscow

Goshawks, at the advice of ornithologists, sometimes fly in the air above the Kremlin to protect the gilded cupolas of its churches against the invasion of grey crows. A moth does not drink at all in the course of its 90-day long life. All these details one can learn at the exhibition that has opened in the Moscow Darwin Museum.

"When we asked Moscow schoolchildren to draw any city animal, we unexpectedly received a picture of penguin," said director of the museum Anna Klyukvina at the opening of the exhibition.

It took the staff of the museum two years to collect the displays for the exhibition. Apart from that, schoolchildren have presented photographs on the theme: "The Animals in My Court-Yard." A competition of literary fantasies - "A Point of View" - will take place in the context of the exhibition.
