Spartak Moscow's shopping spree is continuing, Izvestia reports. Spartak has bought Dmitry Alenichev for under a million euros. This is the smallest sum the club has ever paid for a footballer. In the next few days, goalkeeper Fernando Cavenaghi, who is now negotiating in Moscow, is expected to put pen to paper, and his compatriot Rodriguez is the next.
According to the rumour, the newspaper writes, LUKoil Vice President Leonid Fedun has allocated $25 million for Spartak, but it is already obvious that this sum is not going to be enough.
