Russia is ready to help neighbouring countries to create financial monitoring centres. As a Rosbalt correspondent reports this was announced by Deputy Russian Finance Minister and Chairman of the State Committee on Financial Monitoring Victor Zubkov. 'We have already had requests from Moldova, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Kirgizia,' he said. At the last assembly of the FATF (Financial Action Task Force on Money Laundering) Russia, a member of the task force, was asked to provide assistance to these countries in creating financial monitoring centres. Russian financial specialists have already visited Azerbaijan, Ukraine and Belarus in connection with this.
