Russia has allocated $86.3m in debt payments to the IMF, a source in the Russian Finance Ministry reported to RBC. This sum encompasses $27.484m for June 27 in accordance with the original schedule of payments and $58.819m for June 29, 2003. The aggregate amount of payments in June 2003 totaled $141.5m.
As of January 1, 2003, Russia's debt to the IMF was $6.4bn. The total amount of payments to be made in 2003 is about $2bn. Since the beginning of the year, the amount of Russia's payments to the IMF has reached around $981.5m.
