The Interros group withdrew a suit brought against an seizure of a 12.88% stake in Rusia Petroleum which had been sold to it earlier, the press service of the Tyumen oil company (TNK), a major shareholder of Rusia Petroleum reported to RoosBusinessConsulting. It is worth mentioning that the Irkutskenergo energy company sold the above-mentioned shares to Interrros at an auction in which TNK participated as well. TNK offered more money to Irkutskenergo than Interros did. However, the latter won the auction. Thus, TNK appealed to an arbitration court, and the shares were seized. Several courts declared the purchase of shares legal recently. However, the ban of the higher court, i. e. the Arbitration court of the Irkutsk region, couldn't be lifted. According to reports, the Irkutsk Prosecutor's Office made a decision to return the shares to Irkutskenergo and introduce them for a second auction.
