Belarussian President arrived in Moscow to take part in negotiations and in ice hockey game

Aleksander Lukashenko, President of Belarus arrived in Moscow for a two-day working visit. At the airport the Belarussian President was met by Viktor Khristenko, vice-premier of the Russian government. Tonight the Belarussian President will play for the Belarussian team in a friendly hockey game between teams of veterans and amateur hockey players of Russia and Belarus. The game will take place in the Ice palace of the "Luzhniki" sport complex. Parliamentarians, politicians, hockey stars will defend the prestige of Russia in this game, RIA Novosti announces. The business part of the programme is scheduled for 16 January. Among the problems the presidents of Russia and Belarus will discuss is a question of military-technical co-operation, Lukashenko said. He has added his republic is interested in expanding ties with Russia in that sphere.
