Ukrainian and American militarists chum up

American newspaper “Christian Science Monitor” announced today that USA and Ukraine signed a plan of collaboration for 2001. The document was signed by US Defence Minister William Cohen and his Ukrainian colleague Alexander Kuzmuk December 5, during the meeting of Defence Ministers of NATO states in Brussels. News release of US Defence Ministry says that in 2001 collaboration of two Defence ministries will be directed towards achievement of mutually co-ordinated aims in 8 prime spheres, including operational compatibility, professionalism of troops, activity of civil and military organisations, construction and resources supply of defence forces, as well as military and technical collaboration.
