US “PRESIDENCY CRISIS” TURNS OVERALL POWER CRISIS

US President Bill Clinton has signed a bill extending the work of the current US government till December 5th. This has been done in view of the political crisis going on in a country which has failed to decide upon its next president so far. In the meantime, the last session of the US Congress in its present composition is being delayed several weeks, BBC reports. The congress should have get together this week to finalize the work on the country’s budget. The deadline for the budget to be approved expired on October 1st. It makes no sense to gather until the presidency crisis is resolved, congressmen say.
