As Pravda.Ru has already reported, Vladimir Gusinski, head of the Most Media holding, failed to turn up at the General Procurator’s Office for interrogation as witness. After such a demarche, Mr. Gusinski is receiving a defendant status. Mr. Gusinski’s behaviour has been in an interesting manner characterized by his lawyer Genri Reznik who currently acts as a kind of Mr. Gusisnski’s replacement. Mr. Reznik has turned up at the General Procurator’s to hand over a notice stating that his client is at present on a prolonged business trip. So far, being on a prolonged business trip has been not enough to get away from justice. Possibly, Mr. Reznik was hoping for a different turn of affairs. Before visiting an interrogator, Mr. Reznik said that his client had no intention to risk his own security meaning Mr. Gusinski was not that silly. Anyway, Mr. Gusinski becomes a defendant being accused of illegally siphoning money abroad.
