The volume of industrial production in Moscow went up 13.5% over the first nine months of 2000, head of the financial department of the Moscow government Yury Krostelev announced in an interview today. He noted a rise in the industrial production reached 9.7% in Russia in general over the same period. The Moscow official thinks Moscow managed to reach a 13.5% rise due to the industrial policy of the Moscow government that renders financial support to local enterprises.
