The major Finnish mobile phone operator Sonera established the first wide-band network between Moscow and Saint Petersburg. Earlier the company established "the largest network" in our country, which bound together the two Russian capitals while implementing the first phase of the Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing project in our country, was written in Sonera's press release. The second phase of the project will be implemented at the end of this year. The DWDM technology helps to provide easy access to the Internet and direct several data flows through each particular fiber optic cable.
