The Tyumen Oil Company (TNK) considers the project of constructing the Angarsk-Nakhodka oil pipeline as the most promising project, TNK Vice President Vladimir Nemtsev reported at the round-table meeting "The Outlooks for the Development of Pipeline Transportation in Russia".
He pointed out that the company's specialists had studied two routes for building pipelines to the east, the Angarsk-Nakhodka and Angarsk-Dazin (China) routes, and had come to the conclusion that the first route was the most promising from the viewpoint of the country. At the same time, according to the TNK Vice President, the construction of the pipeline to China is also promising, but in a farther future. Now, it is necessary to build the pipeline to Nakhodka, Nemtsev stressed.
