Russian PM: First Branch of Yamal Pipeline to Open in 2004

The first branch of the Yamal pipeline will be built by the end of 2004, according to Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov. He told journalists that compressors are planned to be built to increase the volume of gas delivered along the pipeline from 19 to 33 billion cubic metres.
