About 70 Nigerians collecting fuel from overturned tanker killed in fire

Flames swept over people collecting fuel from an overturned tanker in northern Nigeria, killing 70 people and injuring 20 others, officials said Wednesday.

The wounded were being treated at hospitals after the fire late Monday on a remote road in northern Kaduna state, said Saad Yahaya, a police spokesman for the region.
