US Soldiers Open Fire on Bank Robbers in Mosul

US soldiers opened fire on a group of looters attempting to rob a bank in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul today. As a Rosbalt correspondent was told at coalition headquarters in Doha, three people are reported to have been killed.

This is the second armed conflict between US troops and the local population in the last two days. On Tuesday American soldiers opened fire on an anti-American demonstration in Mosul. 12 people were killed in this incident and about 20 others were injured.
