More Than 30 Illegal Oil Refineries Destroyed In Chechnya On Wednesday

In carrying out the Chechen Oil operation, on Wednesday the policemen destroyed in Chechnya thirty-one mini- oil refineries built for illegal processing of crude oil. On Thursday the HQ of the United Group of the Ministry of Interior in the North Caucasus reported that they confiscated 6 metric tons of oil. During their search operations in the Grozny District, the servicemen stopped a ZIL-130 lorry without license plates, which was driven by a 17-year old inhabitant of Dolinskoe village and carried four metric tons of oil without appropriate documents. Another two metric tons of oil were found in a GAZ-53 lorry stopped on the southern border of the village of Alkhan-Yurt, Urus-Martan District. The identity of the owner of the lorry is being investigated. Mini-plants built for illegal processing of crude oil were destroyed during the latest 24 hours in Urus-Martan and Shelkovskoi Districts of Chechnya, and in Grozny, capital of Chechnya.
