Asian markets wouldn’t be mush affected by Benazir Bhutto’s assassination. Analysts say that funds would flow into neighboring India and other emerging markets in Asia.
Despite there were concerns that her death would weigh, at least initially, on Pakistan's markets, it wouldn’t impact the country’s economic growth.
Bhutto was killed while entering a vehicle upon leaving a political rally for the Pakistan People's Party in Pakistan.
The political life of the country would be seriously affected by the event, experts say that the elections would be delayed. Tens of thousands of people are quite shocked be the assassination.
But the economy will not be hit. Analysts predict that the economy would grow by 5.5 percent next year though inflation could which accelerated to up to 9 percent year-on-year last month, "may generate some discomfort."
