MANKIND UNABLE TO FIGHT GLOBAL WARMING
Specially for a conference on global warming which is opening today in Hague, British Meteorological Society has prepared a long-term forecast. The scientists argue that the mankind is unable to cope with this problem, and the global average temperature will rise 5 degrees by 2100, the global sea-level surging by 30cm, Sunday Times reports. Implementing all the international accords on reducing “green-house” gas emission will only lower the temperature by 1/600 degrees, the report says.
