Two groups of foreign military inspectors have started a checkup of the Russian Navy's Baltic Fleet Wednesday. The inspection is being conducted as part of the measures to control the implementation of the Conventional Armed Forces in Europe Treaty (CFE). According to the Baltic Fleet's press service, military inspectors from Latvia will be checking up the Fleet's marine brigade and some of its ground and coastal units January 9 through 11. Parallel to that, a group of Polish officers will be inspecting the Russian Baltic Fleet's fighter aircraft regiment.
