By 2015, the Pentagon plans to build 13 special groups to combat cybercrime. The decision was made due to the increasing number of hacker attacks on the U.S., including attacks on government sites, the Washington Post wrote.

U.S. defense officials said that the vulnerability of the Internet space was now a bigger problem than al-Qaeda, the LA Times wrote. Most frequently, hackers attack financial institutions and bank accounts.

On Wednesday, it became known that hackers stole the personal information of First Lady Michelle Obama and other well-known politicians and celebrities. James Clapper, the leader of the Senate Committee on Intelligence, immediately accused China and Russia of that.
