Italians hijacked Russian plane

Russian company Sukhoi Civil Aircraft complains that its Italian partner Alenia Aeronautica, which is supposed to fit Russian civil planes Sukhoi Superjet-100 for the specific needs of the European and foreign customers in the territory of Italy skip the word Sukhoi, clearly identifying the Russian origin of the aircraft and call it just Superjet-100.

According to the official representative of Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Olga Kayukova this must have been the reason why the Italian media caused a misunderstanding when it claimed that Italy is going to assemble the aircraft.

As of today the contract between the two companies stipulates just fitting the aircraft and preparing it for sale. According to the unofficial sources in Russian the Italians would really like to assemble this perspective aircraft. It might become the topic for the respective negotiations.
