Bangladesh: 2,500 protest against Israel's attacks on Lebanon

Protesters from about half a dozen Islamic groups also burned effigies of U.S. President George W. Bush and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, as they shouted "Down with Israel" and "Stop killing in Lebanon" outside Dhaka's main Baitul Mokarram mosque, Sardar Hayat Ali, a police official at Paltan police camp, told The Associated Press.
