Tony Blair with Briton flag to support England team

Prime Minister Tony Blair will support England team by flying flag on World Cup matches. "We will fly the flag on match days due to the special nature of the occasion," Blair's office said Wednesday.

Blair's office also released a letter which the prime minister sent on Tuesday to England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson.

"This is just to wish you and all your team the best of luck in Germany," the letter said.

This letter says: "It's a great squad, well led, well managed and as you know, with everyone hoping for great things, that's a tremendous responsibility but also a fantastic opportunity. "Spirits and confidence are deservedly high. We will all be cheering you on. "Good luck to you all", reports the AP.
