Indonesian court sentences militant to 4 years

An Indonesian court on Monday sentenced an Islamic militant to four years in prison for sheltering a leading Southeast Asian terror fugitive, wanted for the bombings on Indonesia's island resort of Bali.

The presiding judge at the South Jakarta District Court said prosecutors had proven defendant Joni Ahmad Fauzani hid Malaysian terror chief Noordin Top for 10 days in 2005.

He has a week to appeal the ruling, reports the AP.
