Pakistani prime minister to sign agreements in Jordan

Pakistan's prime minister will sign bilateral agreements on tourism, tax and foreign affairs when he visits Jordan on Wednesday, a government statement said Tuesday.

Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz will lead a ministerial delegation on a two-day visit to Jordan on his way home from London, the Foreign Ministry statement said.

Three bilateral cooperation agreements are to be signed. They relate to improving consultation between foreign ministries, avoiding double taxation on businesses operating in both countries and enhancing tourism, the statement said.

Azia is to hold talks with his Jordanian counterpart Marouf al-Bakhit and King Abdullah, reports the AP.
