Rioters in New Delhi clash with police over prophet caricatures
Riot police fired tear gas and water cannons to disperse hundreds of students protesting the publication of cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad in European newspapers.
There were no immediate reports of injuries.
The protesters, mostly from New Delhi 's Jamia University , chanted slogans and burned a Danish flag before riot police broke up the demonstration, reports the AP.
