King of Jordan to speak at U.S. university

&to=http://english.pravda.ru/diplomatic/2001/08/23/13196.html' target=_blank>King Abdullah II of Jordan will make an appearance at the University of Mississippi on Friday to speak about developments in the Middle East.

The king's speech will focus on the latest developments in the region as well as steps Jordan has taken toward reforms and promoting interfaith dialogues, the university said.

"It is a great opportunity and ideal time for our students to learn about &to=http://english.pravda.ru/accidents/21/96/382/16440_Amman.html' target=_blank>Jordan and the politics of the Middle East," said Richard Forgette, chairman of the university's Department of Political Science.
