British pub owners, anti-smoking groups band together

Pub owners and &to=http://english.pravda.ru/main/18/90/360/14476_smoking.html' target=_blank>anti-smoking groups banded together Monday to urge lawmakers not to exempt members' only clubs from a planned smoking ban in England and Wales.

Around 20,000 private members' clubs _ which include servicemen's clubs, sports clubs and gentlemen's clubs _ are currently not covered by proposals to prohibit smoking in workplaces and restaurants.
