Speeding car rushes into a bus stop in Warsaw, killing four commuters

A speeding car slammed into a Warsaw bus stop packed with commuters early Friday, smashing through the metal railing and flying off an overpass, killing four and injuring four others, police said. Police said that four commuters were killed and four others were injured, but could not immediately provide other details. The car fell about five to six meters (about 20 feet).

"A 29-year-old man driving a Ford Focus lost control while driving and smashed into the bus stop where around 20 people were standing," police spokesman Sgt. Andrzej Browarek said.

Excessive speed most likely caused the accident, Browarek said, reports the AP.
