Bush calls Saddam a "butcherer" for crimes against his people

Former Iraqis who were beaten, imprisoned and lost loved ones at the hands of Saddam Hussein's regime shared their stories Wednesday with President &to=http://english.pravda.ru/world/20/91/368/16691_Bush.html' target=_blank>George W. Bush, who called the former Iraqi dictator a "butcherer" who will get his due justice.

There was an emotional atmosphere in the hourlong meeting, participants said, as Bush went around a table in the Roosevelt Room asking each of the roughly dozen former Iraqis to tell their experiences. Bush said they told "stories of sadness and stories of bravery."
