&to=http://english.pravda.ru/cis/2003/03/21/44822.html' target=_blank>Belarus' state security agency on Wednesday refused to comment on reports that a Belarusian citizen had been arrested in Spain along with 14 other people on suspicion of recruiting and indoctrinating fighters for Iraq's insurgency.
KGB spokesman Valery Nadtochaev said the agency could neither confirm nor deny the reports announced earlier this by Spanish police.
"For now, we don't have the right to comment on this fact," Nadtochaev told The Associated Press.
Interior Ministry spokesman Vitaly Grinkevich said officials had not received any inquiries from Interpol regarding a Belarusian citizen.
