Former Gov. &to=http://english.pravda.ru/usa/2001/08/29/13663.html' target=_blank>Gray Davis appeared at the Capitol Wednesday to unveil his new official portrait, while his former aides gloated at how several of their colleagues are now in top positions for Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and his wife, Maria Shriver.

"A gathering such as this usually marks the last page of the last chapter of an administration," said Davis' former Chief of Staff, Lynn Schenk, "but I'm sure all of you are as pleased as I am that the Davis administration will continue on here with my former chiefs of staff: Susan Kennedy and Daniel Zingale."

Kennedy, who was Davis' Cabinet secretary, is now chief of staff to Schwarzenegger, who ousted Davis from office in the 2003 recall election. Zingale, who succeeded Kennedy as Cabinet secretary, is chief of staff to Maria Shriver, reports Contra Costa Times.
