Jordan slaps on tough anti-terror rules, 11 officials resign

Stung into action by deadly &to=http://english.pravda.ru/accidents/21/96/382/16440_Amman.html' target=_blank>hotel bombings, Jordan slapped on tough new security rules Tuesday, including a demand that citizens report the identities of any foreigners renting apartments or houses. Eleven top Jordanian officials, including the national security adviser, also resigned in a post-attacks shake-up.

A fourth American died of wounds sustained in the attacks, according to the U.S. Embassy. The American was not further identified nor had been on the embassy's records until officials learned of the death Tuesday. The death took to 61 the number of people killed, including three bombers.
