Eight US governors were in the national spotlight Nov. 13 as Time magazine named best and worst governors.
Mike Huckabee of Arkansas and Kenny Guinn of Nevada are the Republicans on Time's "best" list.
Democrats are Janet Napolitano of Arizona, Kathleen Sebelius of Kansas and Mike Warner of Virginia, Time released on its website.
In stories posted on its Web site, the magazine also named Louisiana Governor Kathleen Blanco, Ohio Governor Bob Taft and South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford as the country's worst governors, reports Xinhua. According to Las Vegas Sun, Time cited Guinn for his fight against Yucca Mountain and his work to diversify Nevada's gambling-oriented economy.
